Irritable bowel syndrome (5/1/2002)

My name is Etrecia Els and I have suffered for almost 5-7 years with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. After only five days on Herbalife I feel the difference and I am now using only Herbalife products and I don't need my chronic medicine any more.

I started on the Ultimate thermogetics pack in Feb 2004. It included the formula 1, multi vitamins, cell activator, green & beige, snack defense, lemon herbal concentrate, aminogen, cell-u-loss, thermobond and aloe juice. I have had IBS for over 12 years now. I was also lactose intolerant. I always had a hard time in the morning. Most breakfast items would give me diarrhoea - eggs, oatmeal, french toast, pancakes, milk. I often had to eat a sandwich for breakfast just so I could have something to eat.

Other foods I had trouble with were vegetables - the darker the colour the harder they were on my system - romain lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes. It always cut into my social life too. Going out to eat was hard, because you had to worry about where the nearest bathroom was, and how fast could I get to it. It was awful.

After 3 weeks on the Herbalife products I can eat anything I want. On the 3rd week I had an omelette for dinner. I hadn't had one of those in years.

After 3 months on the products I finally had enough courage to try real milk again. I had no bloating gas or any ill side effects. It was awesome.

I am sooooo thankful for Herbalife and the new freedom it has given to me.

Three years ago I was introduced by a friend to the Herbalife products. Little did I know that those products would change my life for good. Since childhood I suffered badly from IBS. I had several admissions in the hospital, used various diets advice and medications. The symptoms were bloating, constipation and bowels full of "wind". It made my daily life a misery, I did not enjoy going out to socialise, let alone going for a meal. I also suffered lots of headaches due to poor digestion, extreme tiredness and found it hard to cope with daily life. Since I started the Herbalife products I noticed the difference within a couple of days. I was so excited and could hardly believe what happened to me.

The products I started on was Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3. Since then I also use the Herbal Aloe concentrate, Florafibre, Fibrebond, Herbalifeline, Schizandra, Cell activator and drink lots of Thermojetics Beverage.

My advice is also to drink plenty of water, especially when constipation is involved. Since the start of Shapeworks, I also use the Personalised Protein Powder ,a reason to top up your water intake even more.

I am very passionate about the products and having the opportunity to help other people to improve their health.

'm 27 years old and before Herbalife, had suffered badly with IBS since about 15 years old. Sometimes it would feel like someone was stabbing me with a knife and twisting it around. I started using the products as a distributor.

I have suffered from IBS for many years. It made it very difficult when I was working a regular job, as I would have to use the bathroom 7 or 8 times before leaving for work, and my co-workers would always ask me if I was feeling okay since I used the bathroom so often! How embarrassing is that?

Since beginning the products, specifically the Herbal Aloe Concentrate, my IBS has virtually disappeared! I feel so much better and intend to add in the 21 day AM formula to keep this up!

I have always had clear skin, but since taking the Ultimate program, my husband has noticed a remarkable difference in my skin. My complexion is smoother & softer, with the fine line and puffiness around my eyes all gone!
